Duties/Responsibilities
Rapidly identify and count small insects under stereo microscope magnification.
Assist with insect colonies, plant seeds/seedlings, and other duties related to entomological research.
Process samples (either frozen or in alcohol) in scheduled time each week when collected and stored.
Check colonies and the plants that maintain them twice weekly.
Participate in weekly lab meeting to determine other duties.
