We strive to recruit the best talent in the industry and give employees opportunities for continuing education and training to help them advance in their careers.The Materials Handler is responsible for the receipt of all incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and returned goods. The Materials Handler is also responsible for using the forklift for routing and delivering materials to storage places or various manufacturing locations, as well as label and inventory items.

**Description of Duties and Job Responsibilities**Check goods received to purchase orders or receiving slips, maintain records, and prepare receiving reportsCheck quantity, type, size, part numbers, dimensions, etc. to properly identify materialsRoute or deliver materials to storage or manufacturing locationsResponsible for labeling, storing, and inventorying itemsAbility to process warranty items such as entering Returned GoodsAuthorizations into databaseWork with Purchasing and Inventory Control to facilitate accurate inventory levels and necessary adjustmentsCross-train in shipper position, responsible for the preparation of domestic and foreign shipments according to shipping requirements and specificationsDrive forklift and maintain necessary certificationOperate cranes and hoistsSafety sensitive positionOther duties as assigned**Preferred Qualifications**At least one year shipping / receiving experience in a heavy manufacturing environment preferredAbility to work in heavy metals manufacturing industryBasic proficiency in computer operations such as email, databases, spreadsheets, etc.Sit down forklift experience preferredValid Driver's License#INDMFG1The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $21.17/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
