Position Summary The Forklift Driver will safely transport and store all ingredients, packaging, and finished goods throughout BRF’s facilities. The role supports food production lines by driving forklifts to load, unload trucks and storage racks; storing and retrieving food products, equipment, and other materials.
Responsibilities
Drive forklifts to load, unload, and store food products, equipment, or other materials.
Operate forklifts and other equipment safely, following BRF safety procedures.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Bills of Lading, and Pick Lists.
Input transactions in SAP to update inventory.
Assist as assigned in the organization and cleaning of docks, rack storage areas, and the facility.
Operate in high‑speed, close‑spacing areas requiring technical skill.
Qualifications
Minimum one year of forklift operation experience.
Minimum six months continuous experience in a manufacturing or industrial food production facility, or equivalent education/experience.
Forklift license preferred (certification will be provided if needed).
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures, Bills of Lading, and Pick Lists written in English; fluent in reading and writing English.
Strong teamwork, direction following, and positive attitude.
Will working in a manufacturing environment with variable heat, moisture, and noise.
Wearing GMP personal protective equipment (hard hat, hairnet, steel‑toe shoes/boots, face mask).
