Job Description The Grader Operator will be responsible for operating motor graders to ensure proper grading and leveling of surfaces on construction sites, requiring precise control, leadership, and a strong understanding of grading techniques.
Responsibilities
Operate motor graders with precision to grade surfaces according to project specifications and blueprints.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Perform routine maintenance on motor graders, including cleaning, lubricating, and reporting mechanical issues.
Monitor and maintain grading quality to meet project requirements.
Collaborate with other construction team members.
Communicate clearly with project managers and team members.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
Identify and resolve operational issues or challenges during grading activities.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily inspection reports and logs.
Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience as a Motor Grader Operator in heavy civil construction.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining motor graders.
Knowledge of construction and grading techniques.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
Physical fitness and stamina.
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at different job sites.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
