Superior Midstream
Superior Midstream is looking for a Field Operator to work in our Cashion, OK area. Candidates must be within a 30-minute driving distance from our Cashion facility. Hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm M-F and one weekend a month on call. Field Operators also participate in on call rotations which can include evenings, weekends and holidays. Must possess a valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.
This is a safety sensitive position. Must be able to work outside and around heavy equipment. Ability to take rotating shifts and irregular working hours, in variable environmental conditions and be able to take callouts.
Job Summary Responsible for field operations including executing startup, shut down and operating procedures; maintaining pipelines and field equipment; analyzing and adjusting flow streams; performing minor maintenance; generating daily production reports; maintaining communication; monitoring, maintaining and operating safety and fire protection systems, and performing housekeeping duties.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Execute startup, shut down and operating procedures for compressors, and compressor stations; maintain pipelines and field equipment including dehys, electric motors, fans, pumps, instrumentation, valves and alarms (15%)
Analyze flow streams using gas chromatographs and make necessary process adjustments to maintain product specifications (15%)
Perform minor maintenance of compressors, engines, pumps, controls, piping and valves (15%)
Generate daily production reports including liquid production, downtime and gas volumes (10%)
Maintain communication with supervisor, field, plant, maintenance employees, and contractors regarding ongoing projects and day-to-day activities (10%)
Monitor, maintain, and operate safety and fire protection systems (10%)
Perform housekeeping duties as required (25%)
Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned
Required Qualifications Knowledge and Skill
Working knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment.
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Ability to work in a safe manner adhering to all safety practices, procedures and policies.
Required Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
