Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Perform monthly bank, credit card, and vendor statement reconciliations.
Manage full-cycle payroll processing and related tax compliance.
Maintain the general ledger, posting journal entries for all financial transactions.
Assist with inventory accounting, including valuation and tracking of raw materials and finished goods.
Support cost accounting efforts by tracking manufacturing expenses and production costs.
Prepare basic financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets, for management review.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.
Experience with cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and job costing in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
Familiarity with payroll processing and relevant tax compliance.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g., inventory valuation, COGS).
