Job Description

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication skills: comprehend and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential functions/skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).

Make correct monetary change.

Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Motor coordination between eye and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.

Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work conditions:

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.

In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in some work areas.

Fumes from food odors, commercial dust.

Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F+.

Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Physical demands:

Standing – most tasks performed from a standing position.

Walking – short distances for short durations.

Sitting – paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.

Lifting – bulk product deliveries up to 60 lbs and stacked on shelves up to 72”.

Carrying – large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz) and pizza sauce (30 lbs) carried from storage to front of store.

Pushing – moving trays on dollies requiring about 7.5 lbs to push.

Climbing – navigate stairs or ladders infrequently to change prices or perform maintenance.

Stooping/Bending – forward bending at waist necessary for pizza assembly station and front counter (approx. 30‑45 seconds per bout).

Crouching/ Squatting – occasional to stock shelves and clean low areas.

Reaching – continuous up, down, and forward reaching, up to 72+” and downward to perform tasks such as scooping cornmeal or washing dishes.

Delivery Responsibilities

Deliver product by car and then to customer door.

Distribute flyers, doorhangers, or other marketing materials.

Navigate delivery area including adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, private homes.

Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages during delivery.

Drive company products within designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.

Navigate multiple flights of stairs during delivery.

Exposed to varying weather conditions while driving and couponing.

Qualifications

Valid Driver License with a safe driving record meeting company standards.

Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.

Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within designated delivery area.

Physical ability to carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing.
