Title : Maintenance Technician

Pay : $30-$35/HR.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role supports production through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while maintaining strict safety, quality, and food safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Duties
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Read and interpret schematics, prints, and ladder logic to diagnose equipment issues.
Read, edit, monitor, and modify PLC ladder logic as needed.
Complete assigned work orders and document all work in worksheets or MRP systems.
Inspect, test, and service machines to ensure proper operation.
Install, relocate, and support production equipment and facility maintenance projects.
Order and replace parts, gauges, valves, regulators, and related components.
Support troubleshooting efforts for production teams and assist with equipment diagnostics.
Maintain a high level of safety, housekeeping, and compliance on the production floor.
Ensure all maintenance work meets food safety and quality standards, including sanitation of product-contact surfaces.
Report any issues that may impact product quality or food safety.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; technical certifications preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Working experience with PLC and relay control systems (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Automation Direct).
Ability to read, edit, and troubleshoot ladder logic.
Proficient in reading schematics and technical documentation.
Experience with plastic blow molding operations (injection or extrusion) is a plus.
Strong attention to safety, cleanliness, and documentation.
