Material Handler (Forklift Operator) D Shift Nights (12‑hour, 6:48 pm–7:00 pm)
Overview Graham Packaging is hiring a Material Handler located in Fremont, OH. The role is a night shift position on a 12‑hour schedule, with a pay rate starting at $20.35 per hour and full benefits effective day one.
Responsibilities
Operate forklift and/or clamp truck in compliance with safety standards.
Follow all established safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
Maintain equipment and regrind rooms, including cleanliness and color/adhesive/EVOH yard handling.
Properly weigh, tag, and store regrind boxes, keeping machines stocked with raw materials.
Assist in creating orderly flow of raw‑material and finished product.
Support blow‑mold operators and ensure timely response to alarms and maintenance.
Operate various controls, buttons, switches, and computerized equipment.
Work near hot and cold parts, moving mechanical parts, and handle equipment safely.
Fill out related forms for Production and Quality.
Travel to other sites may be required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience.
Regular, punctual attendance.
Computer usage and typing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
Independently carry out assignments and collaborate with others.
