We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Manufacturing Scheduler
to manage and optimize production schedules, coordinate equipment-related project milestones (PMs), and ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of manufacturing tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to follow up on critical equipment timelines, manage multiple priorities, and proficiency in manufacturing software and computer applications.
General Duties
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability.
Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure schedule alignment and resolve conflicts.
Track and follow up on project milestones (PMs) related to equipment setup, maintenance, and upgrades.
Ensure timely completion of equipment-related tasks and elevate delays to management.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines or customer requirements and accommodate changes in demand or equipment status.
Use ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) to manage scheduling data and generate reports.
Track material availability and coordinate with purchasing to avoid delays.
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant departments.
Maintain accurate records of production schedules, equipment timelines, work orders, and performance metrics.
Identify scheduling conflicts and recommend solutions to improve workflow efficiency.
Knowledge and Skills Preferred
Proven experience in manufacturing scheduling, production planning, or operations coordination.
ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Scheduling and project tracking tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with production metrics and KPIs.
