About bergenPAC: The Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to presenting world-class entertainment and providing impactful arts education programs that inspire creativity and community engagement. Located in Englewood, NJ, bergenPAC serves as a premier destination for diverse cultural experiences, reaching audiences of all ages and backgrounds while supporting the next generation of artists through its performing arts school. Position Overview: The is a key member of bergenPAC’s Development team, responsible for cultivating, securing, and stewarding corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and campaign contributions. This position focuses on advancing bergenPAC’s strategic fundraising goals through the development of strong relationships with corporate, sponsors, and community partners. Reporting to the Director of Development and working closely with the Executive Director, the Manager will drive revenue generation from corporate sponsorships, business circle, and capital campaign initiatives, while maintaining accurate records and reports. The ideal candidate is an experienced relationship builder, strategic thinker, and persuasive communicator with a passion for the performing arts and community engagement. Key Responsibilities: Identify, cultivate, and solicit new and returning corporate sponsors for performances, programs, and special events. Manage all aspects of corporate partnership fulfillment, including benefits delivery, branding opportunities, and recognition. Collaborate with the Marketing Department to align sponsorship deliverables, branding, and messaging. Develop customized sponsorship proposals and presentations that align with corporate philanthropic and marketing goals. Represent bergenPAC at performances, networking events, and community functions to strengthen institutional relationships and visibility. Assist with drafting compelling proposals, correspondence, and reports for corporate and sponsors. Research and identify new funding prospects among corporate, foundation, and community partners. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required (preferred fields: Arts Administration, Business, Communications, or related discipline). Minimum 3–5 years of experience in corporate relations, sponsorship sales, or nonprofit fundraising. Proven track record in securing corporate sponsorships or managing sales portfolios. Strong understanding of donor cultivation, stewardship, and campaign management. Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge or similar donor CRM required Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative team player with professionalism, discretion, and donor-centered relationship skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general database management. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends SALARY
