About the Team The Market Research Team at Bluberi plays a critical role in guiding strategic decision‑making across Product, R&D, Commercial Development, Sales, and Marketing. By delivering reliable competitive intelligence, player insights, product validation, and operator feedback, the team ensures Bluberi builds games and experiences that resonate in every market segment. Through a structured mix of recurring reporting, field research, concept testing, and global trend monitoring, the team provides the organization with a continuous pulse on the gaming landscape.

Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and industry‑savvy Market Research Manager to lead our research initiatives across the global online and land‑based slot gaming markets. This role is responsible for gathering competitive intelligence, identifying market trends, analyzing player behaviors, and transforming insights into actionable recommendations that guide our product, design, and business strategies.

Key Responsibilities Market & Competitive Analysis

Continuously monitor the online and land‑based casino sectors to identify macro trends, emerging technologies, regulatory shifts, and category growth opportunities.

Build and maintain competitive intelligence reports on slot providers, game launches, market share shifts, game mechanics, and thematic trends.

Evaluate competitor slot games (math models, features, volatility profiles, art direction, UX patterns) and provide detailed comparative insights to product teams.

Player Insights & Behavior Research

Conduct qualitative and quantitative research (surveys, focus groups, player interviews, telemetry analysis) to understand player motivations, preferences, and engagement drivers.

Analyze player lifecycle data (acquisition, retention, monetization) to identify actionable patterns and opportunities for optimizing new and existing slot titles.

Product & Portfolio Strategy Support

Collaborate with Game Producers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Designers to guide concept creation, feature design, and theme selection for upcoming slot titles.

Provide market‑based recommendations on positioning, differentiation, pricing models, volatility tuning, and release strategies.

Deliver data‑backed forecasts for game performance and revenue potential based on market benchmarks.

Reporting & Communication

Create clear, compelling research reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Communicate insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Maintain an internal knowledge hub of research, best practices, and competitive analyses.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in market research, competitive analysis, product analytics, or consumer insights—preferably within the slot gaming, iGaming, or casino entertainment industry.

Strong understanding of slot game mechanics, math models, RTP/volatility concepts, and player engagement drivers.

Expertise with research methodologies (qualitative & quantitative).

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

High attention to detail, strong critical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with major markets (US, Europe, Asia) and their regulatory environments.

Experience collaborating with game design or product development teams.

Experience coordinating and executing player research in focus groups and on casino floors.

Employment Classification To determine eligibility for benefits and overtime status and to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, Bluberi uses the following classifications. Employment classifications are based on the guidelines of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and, as circumstances dictate, Bluberi may review or change employment classifications at any time.

Exempt:

Exempt Team members are paid on a salary basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

Non‑exempt : Non‑exempt Team members are paid on an hourly basis and are eligible to receive overtime pay for overtime hours worked.

Regular, full time:

Team members who are not in a temporary status and work a minimum of 30 hours weekly and maintain continuous employment status. These Team members are eligible for the full‑time benefits package and are subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations of each benefits program.

Regular, part time:

Team members who are not in a temporary status and who are regularly scheduled to work less than 30 hours weekly, but at least 20 hours weekly, and who maintain continuous employment status. Part‑time Team members are eligible for some of the benefits offered by the company and are subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations of each benefits program.

Temporary, full‑time:
