About The Team The Mechanical Engineering team works closely with R&D, design, and production to develop and refine cabinet assemblies and mechanical systems for gaming machines. The role requires collaboration with key stakeholders and mentorship of junior engineers.
Job Summary The Mechanical Engineer III participates in the design of Bluberi cabinets, creates mechanical drawings, and provides technical documentation for Bluberi products.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Participate in and occasionally lead the development of new cabinets.
Design and model complex mechanical parts and assemblies.
Ensure mechanical components meet qualification specifications.
Resolve complex mechanical problems.
Participate in mechanical brainstorming meetings with key stakeholders.
Review, approve, and guide updates to documentation for mechanical products.
Mentor other team members and serve as a subject matter expert.
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide technical and economically feasible solutions.
Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Required Skills And Experience
University degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
In‑depth knowledge of SolidWorks and/or other 3‑D modeling software.
10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
Expertise in gaming‑industry certification requirements related to mechanical design.
Strong communication skills.
Strong time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to coach and mentor.
Ability to analyze and synthesize technical data.
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
Assets
Good interpersonal skills.
Able to work as part of a team or independently.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, and use hands and fingers to touch and handle objects, tools or controls.
Specific visual abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
May require local, national, or international travel.
