Responsibilities You will be given the tools, resources, and training to:

Develop and implement creative and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster learning, curiosity, and exploration among preschool-aged children.

Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where preschoolers feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves and learn through play.

Integrate language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy experiences into daily routines to help preschoolers develop communication skills, vocabulary, and a love of reading.

Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom environment, including materials, equipment, and play areas, to support optimal learning and exploration.

Establish open and ongoing communication with parents, sharing insights, updates, and progress on their child's development.

Manage the classroom ensuring compliance with all Child Care regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.

Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.

Maintain an attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative Parent Board that is updated regularly.

Maintain regular and satisfactory attendance at all times.

Perform face‑to‑name counts every 30 minutes and upon all transitions.

Education/Experience Ideal candidate will have an AA (or credit equivalent) degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, Psychology, Child Development, Family Studies, or a similar discipline.

Physical Demands The position requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, lifting, and carrying; the ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
