We are seeking a hands‑on Health & Safety (HSE) Coordinator to support a regulated chemical manufacturing facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment through proactive safety leadership, regulatory oversight, and daily engagement with plant operations. Responsibilities Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and hazard identification across plant operations Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DHS, DOT, and other regulatory requirements Lead incident and accident investigations, corrective actions, and documentation Develop, revise, and implement SOPs, training programs, and safety procedures Issue and manage hot work, confined space, and other required permits Maintain safety records, SDS documentation, inspection logs, and regulatory reports Serve as the leader of the plant safety committee, driving safety culture and engagement Provide hands‑on support across the facility to reinforce safe work practices Qualifications Minimum
Bachelor of Science
in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field 3–5 years
of HSE experience in chemical, industrial, or highly regulated manufacturing preferred Experience with
scheduling ,
SAP , and
Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and safe work permitting Experience conducting inspections, training, and incident investigations Excellent communication and leadership skills; comfortable working on the plant floor This is an onsite direct hire opportunity with benefits.
