The postdoctoral researcher will work under the primary supervision of Dr. Salami and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Participating in the collection of MRI, TMS, and cognitive data in older individuals
Conducting quality control of neuroimaging data and performing statistical analyses on already collected MRI and PET datasets
Interpreting findings and contributing to scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals
Co-supervising junior researchers and assisting in the preparation of grant applications
Qualifications
Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience, biomedical engineering, neuroscience, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced research training and experience in neuroimaging (including MRI and PET)
Documented experience with TMS as well as computational modelling and data analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience in manuscript and/or grant writing
Project Overview This postdoctoral position is in a neuroimaging lab at Florida State University focusing on understanding age-related cognitive decline and identifying strategies to mitigate it.
