Family Medicine Physician – Ashtabula, Ohio
Join a Prestigious Affiliated Practice with Cleveland Clinic
Ashtabula Regional Medical Center (ARMC), an esteemed affiliate of the Cleveland Clinic, is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join our dynamic multispecialty team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated clinician to provide comprehensive primary care in a supportive environment. The position offers exposure to diverse patient populations across multiple locations, with a focus on quality care, professional growth, and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients aged 5 years and older, including adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations.
Conduct approximately 20 patient visits per day, demonstrating efficiency and quality care within a collaborative team setting.
Manage patient needs through various modalities, including preventive care, acute illness management, and chronic disease follow-up.
Participate in on-call duties 3-4 days per month, ensuring 24/7 patient access and continuity of care.
Collaborate regularly with orthopedic and sports medicine teams, especially for providers in our sports medicine clinic.
Utilize on-site diagnostics such as plain X-ray, ultrasound-guided injections, and conduct concussion evaluations.
Orient and coordinate with a team of 10 mid-level providers, maintaining high standards of patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Comply with all medical regulations, licensing, and hospital policies.
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
Current ACLS and BLS certification.
Ability to obtain and maintain Ohio medical licensure.
Willingness to work at either practice location and to see a diverse patient demographic.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality patient care.
Must reside within 40 miles of Ashtabula or be willing to relocate.
Organized, adaptable, and team-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience or training in Sports Medicine is desired, including ultrasound injections and concussion management.
Recent graduates from accredited family medicine residency programs are welcome to apply (graduates expected in 2025).
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary aligned with MGMA guidelines, with a possibility to discuss specific expectations during the interview.
Three-year contract structure, including guaranteed salary for the first two years, with productivity-based incentives in the third year.
