as a GN&C Engineer focused on Modeling & Simulation for our Lunar Permanence business unit. You will work on multidisciplinary models and simulations across multiple spacecraft platforms to support safe human spaceflight from Earth to the Moon.

Responsibilities

Develop the tools needed to design, build, deploy, and support our advanced simulation infrastructure.

Integrate multidisciplinary models for a multi-vehicle simulation using Simulink and C/C++.

Deliver simulations to customers to inform decisions and ensure requirements are met.

Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to validate models and ensure technical performance.

Minimum Qualifications

BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science.

5+ years of software development and debugging in C/C++, MATLAB, and Simulink.

Experience auto coding Simulink to C++.

Strong fundamentals in rigid body dynamics, fluid mechanics, and physics-based mathematical models.

Hands‑on experience with testing frameworks and Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines such as GitLab.

Experience with configuration management.

Preferred Qualifications

MS or higher degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.

Strong debugging skills at the software/hardware boundary and familiarity with software verification approaches.

Experience developing software for hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with verification and validation of aerospace simulations and models.

Experience developing and maintaining simulation models including plant physics, sensors, and actuators.

Familiarity with DO‑178, DO‑160, and DO‑254 or similar guidelines.

Compensation CO applicants: $116,323.00 – $162,851.85; WA applicants: $126,898.00 – $177,656.85
