Role Overview We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the architecture, implementation, and ongoing management of the infrastructure powering our mission‑critical Banking Foundation Platform. In this role, you will be a cornerstone of our reliability engineering practice, ensuring that our hybrid event‑driven and batch processing systems attain exceptional availability, performance, and security. You will work across the entire stack from Kubernetes orchestration to database performance monitoring in a complex, high‑transaction environment.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.

Design, build, and maintain robust GitLab CI/CD pipelines for microservices, data pipelines, and infrastructure deployment automation.

Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters supporting 50+ microservices, focusing on auto‑scaling, resource efficiency, and system resilience.

Enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability through tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Application Insights to provide deep insight into application and infrastructure performance.

Ensure platform security and compliance, leveraging Azure Active Directory, Key Vault, NSGs, Private Endpoints, and other security configurations.

Automate operational procedures and disaster recovery strategies to uphold high‑availability standards essential for banking operations.

Collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and stability issues across the system stack.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience, with demonstrated expertise in Azure cloud services.

Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (preferably AKS) at scale in production environments.

Proven ability to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD preferred) with integrated security and quality gates.

Strong proficiency in Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.

Experience implementing and managing observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, and Application Insights.

Deep understanding of networking, security, and compliance considerations within cloud environments.

Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
