We are a boutique style practice located at the beautiful Blackhawk Plaza in Danville, CA. We have excellent support staff and a well‑controlled patient flow to help you tend to patient care with ease.
About Our Practice Our optical floor is filled with high‑end designer frame lines such as Cartier, Lindberg, Dita, Tom Ford, Gucci, and more! We have a dry eye clinic featuring the Lumenis OptiLight, OptiPlus and OptiLift devices. Additional diagnostic equipment includes a Humphrey Matrix Field Analyzer, Topcon Maestro OCT/AS‑OCT, digital corneal topographer/keratometer/autorefractor and computerized refraction devices. Digital record keeping features Office Mate and Exam Writer software systems.
Salary & Schedule Per diem: $550 – $850
Schedule: Fill‑in (part‑time)
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye exams
Focus on dry eye management and myopia control
Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
Prescribe corrective lenses
Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care to surgical patients
Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress
Handle eyecare emergencies
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
Valid state license to practice optometry
Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
Customer‑service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
