Optometrist - Full-time/Part-time - Medically-Oriented Private Practice - Burnsville, NC - No Weekends - 4 Day Work Week (Burnsville, NC 28714, USA)
Salary: Based on experience. Schedule: Full-time or Part-time.
We are looking for a part-time or full-time Optometrist to join our Burnsville office and provide comprehensive eye care to our community.
New graduates and experienced optometrists are encouraged to apply!
Our office is committed to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of each and every patient who comes through our doors.
What You’ll Need
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree (or pending)
Valid NC state license to practice optometry (or pending)
A background in pediatrics is a plus but not required
Why Work Here? Exposure You will gain exposure to a wide range of eye care and vision needs in our full‑scope practice with an emphasis on medical optometry. Our doctors typically provide comprehensive eye exams, eye condition treatment, contact lenses, myopia control, eye disease management, eye emergencies, LASIK & refractive surgery co‑management, and low‑vision treatment.
Environment Our new OD will always have a robust team supporting them each day. They will work alongside another two ODs and support staff to focus fully on patients. State‑of‑the‑art technology includes:
Optos
OCT
Topographer
Electroretinography (ERG)
Visual Field (VF)
Autorefractor
Schedule We value work‑life balance – no weekends and no nights. Full‑time doctors work Monday‑Friday 7:45 AM – 5 PM. A 4‑day workweek option is available for full‑time doctors. We schedule 20–25 patients per day to allow thorough care.
