Interventional Cardiologists Needed at Baptist Health Medical Center in Ft. Smith, Arkansas
Baptist Health Medical Center in Ft. Smith, Arkansas is seeking to recruit (3) Interventional Cardiologists to its existing Cardiology Clinic that is 2 blocks from the hospital. Currently, there are (2) physicians with 20 plus years of experience at the clinic (one Interventional and one Invasive) along with (5) APRNs (2 clinic and 3 hospital) with the goal of adding an additional APRN. Call is 10 days per month to include 1 weekend. Call can decrease as physicians are added to the group.
Procedures are per physician credentialing/privileges. Modalities offered in the Cardiology Clinic include: EKG, Echo, Treadmill Stress, Nuclear Stress, INR Clinic, Pacemaker Clinic, and Holter monitors.

Pacemakers/Implantable Devices
Angiography
Aortography
Tilt Table
Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)
Angioplasty
Cardioversion
The EHR is EPIC.

The facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and continues to earn recognition for exceptional stroke and heart care by national agencies. Fort Smith is Arkansas' third largest city at over 90,000 people. This location qualifies for a J‑1 waiver.
