Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians Needed in Ft. Smith, Arkansas
Baptist Health Medical Center in Ft. Smith is seeking to add (2) physicians to the Baptist Health Lung Center. There are currently 2 full‑time Pulmonary/CC physicians and 1 part‑time Critical Care physician in the practice. Call requirements currently are 10 days per month to include 1 weekend. This call coverage requirement will decrease with the addition of new physicians.
Current procedures include, but are not limited to: EBUS; Bronchoscopy; Spirometry; Thoracentesis; Thoracoscopy; Intubation; Diffusion Capacity; Chest Tube placement; and Central Lines. EPIC is the EHR.

Baptist Health Medical Center – Fort Smith is a 492‑bed hospital complete with an Intensive Care Unit, Outpatient Imaging and Surgery Center. It also has one of the busiest ERs in the state. It offers a wide range of specialties including Cardiology, Neuro‑Interventional Radiology, Orthopedics, OBGYN and a variety of Robotic Surgeries. The facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and continues to earn recognition for exceptional stroke and heart care by national agencies. Fort Smith is Arkansas’s third largest city at over 90,000 people. This location qualifies for a J‑1 waiver.
