Job Summary The Production Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure timely and cost‑efficient delivery of customer orders. This role includes production scheduling, inventory control, purchasing, vendor management, and cross‑functional coordination. The Production Planner will also handle administrative tasks such as job sheet and label printing, paperwork filing, and maintaining accurate records to support overall supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders and forecasted demand.
Monitor and manage raw materials and packaging materials inventories, ensuring adequate supply.
Purchase packaging materials and assist with sourcing and qualifying new vendors; issue MRC to HQ for the purchase team to issue POs.
Perform cost and price analysis to support purchasing decisions.
Coordinate daily with production, logistics, and office teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Generate and print job sheets and labels for production orders.
Handle paperwork filing and documentation management to ensure organized and accessible records.
Submit Delivery Order (DO) requests and update the sales team on product ETDs and shipment schedules.
Arrange and prioritize urgent orders to meet customer requirements.
Assist with monthly physical stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
Communicate with vendors regarding quality issues, delivery discrepancies, and receiving problems, ensuring timely resolution.
Maintain accurate documentation of production planning, purchasing, and vendor communications.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in production and supply chain processes.
Perform other related duties or assume additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or purchasing (manufacturing environment preferred).
Strong knowledge of production workflows, inventory management, and procurement processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word.
Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple departments.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
