MRO Supply (www.mrosupply.com)

Established in 1898, MRO Supply and its family of companies has been delivering high quality products to the manufacturing and distribution industries. Last year was our biggest year ever with $50MM+ in total revenue! Not bad for a company of around 40 employees! With over 1.5 million products to sell in categories including Electro‑mechanical, Gearbox, Bearings, Chains, Sprockets, Motors, Cutting tools, and safety products and an exciting commission plan, it’s no wonder why many of our sales people have been happily with us for 10‑20 years. Through acquisitions and product development, we’re adding new products lines and thereby opening up new markets and territories every year so it’s not surprising that our sales have been growing 20%+/year for the past 5+ years. At this time, we are hiring experienced Human Resources Manager to join our growing team. The Human Resources Manager will report to the CFO. Our family of companies continues to expand through acquisition and, as such, we are adding businesses and employees in states across the US with regularity. At this time, standardizing processes and building out robust employee training modules including onboarding are a high priority. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in the area of SOP development and employee training development in addition to an HR generalist background.

About the opportunity The Human Resources Manager will champion and provide expertise in support of an employee‑oriented, high‑performance culture, emphasizing safety, quality, productivity, and empowerment. The role will be responsible for the development of processes and reporting metrics that support the achievement of MRO’s business goals. The ideal candidate will have broad generalist experience in Human Resources in the areas of employee and labor relations, performance management, talent development, talent acquisition, and succession planning. This individual must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and have the ability to navigate and deliver amidst changing priorities and ambiguous circumstances.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess a positive outlook, high work ethic, excellent communication skills, knowledge of labor regulations and HR practices, strategic thinking abilities, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. An exceptional Human Resources Manager should improve HR processes, implement strategies that support business growth, improve morale and employee retention, enhance safety and wellness, strengthen relations between staff and leadership, manage job satisfaction, attract the best talent, and promote the organization’s values.
