Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor – 1st Shift. This is a full‑time on‑site position supporting our Indianapolis, IN facility.
The Manufacturing Supervisor (e‑Reman) is responsible for the successful execution of maintaining and supervising the overall electronics/mechatronics remanufacturing department. Duties focus on achieving production builds and key metrics, supervising hourly employees, monitoring equipment readiness/maintenance, ensuring material availability, maintaining a strong quality focus, driving continuous improvement activities, and approving or monitoring new/current remanufacturing processes being implemented on the floor for e‑Reman products.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $83,250.00‑$122,100.00 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What You’ll Do
Daily remanufacturing management including staffing, daily production metrics and costs
Employee training on key e‑reman processes to ensure compliance
Hourly employee hiring and development
Ensure equipment uptime and on‑time deployment/launch of e‑reman products
Schedule daily production builds to ensure 95% line fill rate for AM business
Development and deployment of continuous improvement activities within the e‑reman manufacturing business
Manage MDS and health and safety requirements
Maintain OSHA standards and document all issues/corrective actions
Identify and execute all corrective actions
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
Minimum associate’s degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 3 years experience managing hourly associates in a manufacturing environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
Must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Indianapolis, IN. Active duty military service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Manufacturing / Engineering Technology
Experience on OEM electronics remanufacturing programs that include supervisory management
Mechanical hands‑on aptitude experience
Experience with Oracle/ERP software
Bilingual – Spanish
