Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair) – Louisville, KY
2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Customer Service team in Louisville, KY. Responsibilities include traveling to customer locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG equipment, diagnosing and fixing major appliances and electronic devices, and meeting service quality metrics. Travel offsite to customer locations. Use PPE, vehicle, and diagnostic tools. Conduct technical diagnosis and specialized repairs on various appliances. Document findings, decide on repair or part replacement. Process paperwork and data entry promptly. Pre‑screen upcoming service calls to gather needed information. Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix right first time, parts management, etc.). Qualifications / Education / Experience
Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role (field service preferred). Experience repairing major appliances (refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning). Proficiency with tools and diagnostic test equipment. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product issues. Valid driver's license in good standing. Ability to obtain EPA certification. Physical ability to bend, lift, and handle up to 50 pounds continuously. Recruiting Range: $48,000 - $55,000 USD Benefits Offered Full‑Time Employees
