Private Credit Associate

A Charlotte-based Private Credit firm is seeking a Private Credit Associate to join their team. The firm invests in middle-market companies and has over a billion in AUM. The platform focuses on private market strategies designed to generate predictable cash flows, primarily through direct debt and equity investments secured by high-quality, collateralized assets. As a Private Credit Associate, you will work on a lean deal team, gaining extensive hands-on transaction experience across the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, structuring, and portfolio management.

Base Pay Range $180,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Execution of broader market and industry research

Financial modeling, valuation analysis, and returns analysis for various investment targets

Assisting the team with operating/portfolio company work

Qualifications

1-3 years of Investment Banking experience performing M&A with a reputable middle market or lower middle market bank; related transaction advisory consulting experience will also be considered

Bachelor's Degree

Superior financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills (there will be a modeling test)

Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional work ethic

Prior experience or interest in sectors such as business services, industrials, manufacturing and/or consumer
