Manufacturing Recruiter (Skilled Trades)
Location: Goodyear, AZ (On‑Site)
Department: Talent Acquisition
Reports To: Recruiting Manager
Employment Type: Full‑Time
Role Overview We are seeking a results‑driven Manufacturing Recruiter to support high‑volume hourly and skilled trades hiring for our Goodyear, AZ operations. This role owns the full‑cycle recruiting process for production, fabrication, welding, assembly, maintenance, and skilled manufacturing roles in a fast‑paced environment.
This is a hands‑on recruiting role requiring strong sourcing instincts, operational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions while partnering closely with plant leadership.
Core Responsibilities
Own full‑cycle recruiting for hourly and skilled manufacturing roles, including:
Production Operators
Welders / Fabricators
Electricians
Maintenance Technicians
Skilled Trades and Entry‑Level Manufacturing roles
Manage 20–40+ active requisitions simultaneously depending on demand
Drive consistent hiring flow to support production schedules and ramp plans
Proactively source candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, local job boards, referrals, walk‑ins, community outreach, trade schools, workforce development programs, and job fairs
Build and maintain evergreen pipelines for critical roles
Partner with leadership on creative sourcing strategies for hard‑to‑fill roles
Act as a trusted partner to plant leaders, supervisors, and operations managers
Conduct intake meetings to understand staffing needs, schedules, and shift requirements
Provide regular updates on hiring progress, pipeline health, and challenges
Educate hiring managers on market conditions and hiring best practices
Screen candidates for skills, reliability, shift fit, and work authorization
Coordinate interviews, plant tours, and hiring events
Extend offers, manage pre‑employment steps, and support onboarding handoffs
Ensure a positive candidate experience from first contact through start date
Maintain accurate candidate records and requisition status in the ATS
Track key recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill, hiring volume, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rates
Ensure compliance with hiring policies and employment regulations
Required Qualifications
2–5+ years of recruiting experience in manufacturing, industrial, or high‑volume environments
Proven ability to hire hourly and skilled trades roles at scale
Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills
Comfortable working on‑site in a fast‑paced production environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting for fabrication, welding, assembly, or industrial manufacturing
Familiarity with shift‑based hiring and production‑driven staffing models
Experience partnering directly with plant or operations leadership
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
Experience using ATS platforms (Lever, iCIMS, Workday, Greenhouse, etc.)
