Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Portage that are seeking skilled Recruiters. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities
Source, screen, and recruit qualified candidates for diverse manufacturing roles, including production, engineering, and skilled trades.
Partner with manufacturing hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit for manufacturing environments.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial requisition to offer negotiation and pre-onboarding.
Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for current and future manufacturing staffing needs.
Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to streamline processes and track metrics.
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws and company policies.
Recommended Qualifications
3-5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a significant portion in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Proven ability to source, screen, and recruit for a diverse range of manufacturing roles (e.g., production, engineering, skilled trades, management).
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards).
Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills, focused on identifying technical aptitude and cultural fit within manufacturing operations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build rapport with candidates and collaborate with hiring managers.
Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of requisitions and adapt to the fast-paced demands of a manufacturing environment.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience recruiting for specific manufacturing sectors (e.g., automotive, aerospace, food & beverage).
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering disciplines, or skilled trades.
Familiarity with unionized workforces and collective bargaining agreements.
Prior experience working within a manufacturing plant or production environment.
Awareness of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
