What You'll Do
Troubleshoot electro‑mechanical problems, install equipment, and perform unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance based on customer demand.
Analyze problem situations related to breakdowns of customer equipment and recommend actions to correct the situation.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
Execute repairs in a productive manner and perform scheduled maintenance according to Carolina Handling policies.
Maintain parts and supplies inventory in the service van.
Follow customer safety and housekeeping guidelines during on‑site repairs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
Valid driver's license.
One to three years of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience in a similar environment or equivalent education.
Strong communication skills with customers, management, and coworkers.
Up‑to‑date knowledge of industry innovations and product availability.
Ability to safely operate drills, grinders, presses, forklifts, hoists, overhead cranes, and hand tools.
Ability to seek internal resources and know when to use them.
