Clarke Vehicare is seeking a
Diesel Technician / Fleet Mechanic
to maintain trucks for a popular beverage distributor. The role offers competitive hourly pay, full benefits, and opportunities for career growth. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Use smartphone, laptop, and tablet technology to record all repairs. Repair and maintain customer vehicles and mechanical equipment. Perform PMI’s on tractors, trailers, and other diesel‑powered equipment. Conduct all types of engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs and test drive vehicles under 26,000 GVW. Work independently and assist other technicians as needed. Utilize major shop tools and diagnostic equipment provided. Physical & Safety Requirements
Move frequently, stand, walk, and sit throughout the shift. Use hands to touch, handle, and reach with arms. Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs with assistance. Read and write repair reports. Implement and enforce health and safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Education & Experience
2+ years of related repair experience required; 5+ years preferred. Diesel program certificate or degree from a technical school is a plus. Certificates, Licenses & Registrations
Valid driver’s license required. Valid CDL is a plus; Clarke Vehicar will pay for CDL exam fees. ASE certifications are a plus. Why Apply?
