Quality & EHS Specialist , you’ll play a key role in strengthening and sustaining our Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental, Health & Safety Management System (EHSMS). Your work will help ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, while supporting a safe, compliant, and continuously improving workplace. You’ll help ensure that our processes, documentation, and audits consistently meet regulatory and certification requirements—protecting our people, our customers, and our environment. Through your attention to detail and proactive approach, you’ll contribute to improved process performance, audit readiness, and a strong culture of quality, safety, and environmental stewardship. You’ll collaborate across all functional areas, support audits and management reviews, and take ownership of key QEHS processes—helping us move toward a more consistent, compliant, and continuously improving organization. role based on our Turbocor global headquarters in Tallahassee, FL.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and support activities to maintain and continuously improve the Quality and Environmental Health & Safety Management Systems (QMS & EHSMS)
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and instructions to support product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory requirements
Assist with the development, revision, control, and maintenance of QEHS documentation and records
Support internal audits, external audits, customer audits, and certification renewals, including coordination, preparation, and follow-up on action items
Monitor, track, and report Process Performance Indicators (PPIs), risk assessments, management review inputs, and compliance tasks, escalating delays when needed
Deliver general and task-specific QEHS training to ensure employee understanding and compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Support and sustain 5S workplace organization initiatives to promote clean, safe, and orderly work areas
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of experience in Quality, EHS, or compliance-focused roles
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 1401, and IATF 16949 standards
Experience with document control systems, audit coordination, and compliance tracking
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and across departments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QMS/EHS software platforms
A problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Nice To Have
ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 Internal Auditor certification
Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and OSHA regulations
Experience with risk management frameworks and tools
Familiarity with Management Review processes and KPI tracking
Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement training
ASP or GSP safety certification
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
