Job Description Position : TIBCO Integration Consultant Location : Remote Duration : Long term contract Position Summary The TIBCO Consultant will design, develop, and support middleware integrations connecting a custom enterprise application to IBM Maximo Asset Management using TIBCO technologies. This role blends solution architecture, system integration, and operational support responsibilities, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange through TIBCO APIs and services. The consultant will collaborate closely with business users, developers, architects, and support teams to deliver maintainable integration solutions aligned with enterprise standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities Design and implement integration flows between a custom application and IBM Maximo using TIBCO BusinessWorks (5.x/6.x/CE), TIBCO EMS, and TIBCO API management tools (e.g., Mashery). Manage TIBCO middleware environments, including application deployment, configuration, and monitoring through TIBCO Administrator, TIBCO TEA, Hawk, and EMS. Analyze business requirements to define integration logic, data mappings, and transformation rules for Maximo assets, work orders, and related entities. Work with enterprise architects, service delivery managers, and project teams to design end-to-end integration solutions aligned with architectural and security guidelines. Ensure compliance with internal and industry standards, including performance, security, and reliability expectations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 4+ years of experience in middleware or integration development, including at least 3 years focused on the TIBCO suite (BusinessWorks, BWCE, EMS, Mashery/APIX, BE, or ActiveSpaces). Proficient in managing RESTful APIs, JSON/XML messaging, and web service orchestration. Strong understanding of integration with enterprise systems such as IBM Maximo, or similar asset management/ERP platforms. Hands-on experience deploying and supporting TIBCO applications in containerized or cloud environments. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset. Experience coordinating across development, operations, and vendor teams to ensure reliable service delivery. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience integrating with IBM Maximo or other enterprise asset management systems. Knowledge of EDI transactions, x12 file formats, or TIBCO EDI Plugin (e.g., Instream, Translator). Familiarity with TIBCO TEA, TIBCO Hawk, and automated deployment pipelines. TIBCO certification in BusinessWorks or related modules.
