Job Location: Aventura, FL
Job Duration: 2+ Months
Shift: Must have flexibility between 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, depending on site to be covered.

Job Description:
  • The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the front line of our organization, delivering a positive and professional experience to patients seeking routine care or life-defining health insights.
  • This role is responsible for performing high-quality phlebotomy and specimen processing, while fostering trust, confidence, and comfort through excellent patient interaction.
  • The PSR II demonstrates strong leadership behaviors, a commitment to process excellence, and strict attention to confidentiality, accuracy, and safety.
  • Assignments may vary based on business needs and can include work at a Patient Service Center (PSC), physician’s office, or mobile/float locations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily job duties accurately, efficiently, and on time under the direction of the Area Supervisor.
  • Draw quality blood specimens using established, safe, and skillful phlebotomy techniques.
  • Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing in compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Verify patient identification and demographic information, including patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm proper specimen labeling.
  • Prepare, label, and process specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data entry in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment at all times.
  • Communicate procedures clearly to patients and create an atmosphere of trust, comfort, and confidence.
  • Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive company image to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Flexible availability based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and professional communication.
  • Ability to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise sound judgment.
  • Commitment to all company policies, procedures, dress code, safety standards, and Everyday Excellence guiding principles.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple locations with minimal notice.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if applicable).
Education & Certifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Medical training such as Medical Assistant or Paramedic (preferred).
  • Phlebotomy certification (preferred).
Work Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience (required)
  • Must include pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • 2+ years in a Patient Service Center (PSC) environment (preferred)
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service-based setting (preferred)
  • Keyboarding and data entry experience
