Commercial Construction Project Manager – Raleigh
Location: Raleigh, NC
A well‑established commercial general contractor is seeking a
Commercial Construction Project Manager
to support complex, ground‑up and interior commercial projects in the Raleigh market. This role offers long‑term stability, a strong project pipeline, and the opportunity to lead meaningful work in regulated and mission‑critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Oversee schedules, budgets, subcontractor performance, and client relationships
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and contract requirements
Lead project teams and support field leadership to drive successful outcomes
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial general contractor
Proven experience delivering projects in healthcare, life sciences, education, and/or government sectors
Experience managing projects with budgets of $10M+
Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control, contracts, and risk management
Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
