Position: Diesel Mechanic

Summary:
TNT Crane & Rigging Inc. is currently seeking a full-time experienced Diesel Mechanic to help build our branch location. The mechanic will perform maintenance and repairs on cranes, forklifts, and other equipment, following all State and Federal laws while operating motor vehicles and adhering to safety and environmental policies.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
At least 2 years of experience as a mechanic in automotive, trucking, or heavy equipment environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to safely lift over 40 lbs.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Trade school diploma preferred
Valid Driver’s License
Responsibilities
Provide own tools with up-to-date inventory.
Perform scheduled maintenance on trucks, cranes, forklifts, and other equipment.
Document all maintenance and repairs and file records properly.
Exhibit strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
Work with minimal supervision.
Understand electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits (a plus).
Work some evenings and weekends at the shop.
Verbal communicate safety issues to customers and co-workers on location.
Report to Supervisor/Lead Mechanic for job completion and next assignment.
Hydraulics, electronics, and mechanical crane troubleshooting.
Other duties as assigned.
