St. James, LA or Norco, LA Summary:
TNT Crane and Rigging Inc. is seeking a full‑time experienced Crane Technician. The mechanic will perform maintenance and repairs on cranes, forklifts, and other equipment. role follows all State and Federal laws while operating motor vehicles and observes all safety and environmental policies. Qualifications: Be able to perform inspections, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic mobile cranes (all terrain, rough terrain, boom trucks, etc.) At least 3 years’ experience as a crane mechanic in a heavy equipment or automotive environment Experience as a mechanic with electrical and hydraulics in modern crane technology Working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, ECOS, CCS, LICCON systems High School Diploma or GED Ability to work overtime and on weekends Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and TWIC card or ability to acquire Capacity to safely lift over 40 lbs Capability to accomplish tasks independently without direct supervision Properly maintain all reports (timesheets, work orders, expense reports) Observe and maintain all equipment according to safety requirements Responsibilities: Perform scheduled maintenance on trucks, cranes, forklifts, and other equipment Document all maintenance and repairs and file records properly Use up‑to‑date tool inventory supplied by the shop Communicate safety issues verbally to customers and coworkers before and during job tasks Report to Maintenance Manager on completion of assigned job task for next assignment Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and mechanical crane issues Work evenings and weekends as required Other duties as assigned Benefits: TNT offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including company vehicle, health benefits, paid vacation, and overtime opportunities.
