Responsibilities
Provide expert support in process standardization and capability improvements in plastic processing and innovative technologies for injection molding operations.
Serve as a technical resource to ensure injection molding operations process standards for Georg Fischer are compliant.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, plastics/polymer engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
Minimum of 10 years of hands‑on experience in injection molding process engineering or a closely related discipline.
Experience with semi‑crystalline and amorphous plastics and ability to process materials through various types (makes) of injection molding and extrusion machines.
Experience troubleshooting and optimizing plastic processing, including shrinkage management, mold qualification, post‑molding operations, auxiliary equipment integration, and product testing.
Experience with root‑cause analysis techniques.
Ability to travel 50% or more.
