Plastics Engineer turned Recruiter | Injection Molding, Extrusion, and All Plastics Manufacturing | Engineering to Executive Level Process Engineer | Injection Molding

An established manufacturer is looking to add a hands‑on Process Engineer to support injection molding operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.

This role is focused on execution. Troubleshooting, process stability, and making molding processes run consistently on the floor, not sitting behind a desk.

What this role focuses on

Developing, optimizing, and maintaining robust injection molding processes

Scientific molding and process window development

Supporting validation activities including IQ, OQ, and PQ

Troubleshooting scrap, cosmetic issues, dimensional variation, and cycle time

Partnering closely with tooling, quality, and production teams

Supporting new product launches and process transfers as needed

Background that fits well

3+ years of hands‑on injection molding processing experience

Strong hands‑on troubleshooting and process optimization skills

BS in engineering preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of education

Experience working with a range of resins and molding machines

Medical or cleanroom experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation

Base salary range: $125,000 to $155,000, depending on experience and scope
