Accounts Receivable & Collections Analyst

Join CLAM Associates as an accounts receivable analyst. The role involves maintaining company accounts receivable records, ensuring accurate invoicing, and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize collections.
Responsibilities
Manage accounts receivable ledger, validate accurate posting of payments, adjustments, and other transactions.
Work with 100+ branches and customers to resolve past‑due accounts, send reminders, coordinate with internal resolution team for payment plans, and assist in escalation processes.
Reconcile AR accounts and participate in monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closure activities.
Collaborate with Sales, Installation, Customer Service, etc., to resolve customer issues and ensure proper billing and collection practices.
Communicate with customers to clarify billing inquiries, resolve disputes, and answer questions regarding their accounts.
Education & Experience
Associate’s degree in accounting or related field.
4+ years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting preferred.
Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong proficiency in Excel, including referencing and analyzing large amounts of data.
Preferred Technical Experience
Sage Intacct – ERP
Salesforce – CRM
