What You Will Do

Functional and operational tests on electronic, pneumatic, electromechanical, and/or mechanical production items.

Operate standard, commercial, and specialized test equipment to ensure compliance and/or conformance to engineering, military, and manufacturing specifications.

Ensure compliance and conformance to specified quality control methods, procedures, and standards.

Plan, set up, and perform functional, operational, environmental, and specialized testing under all conditions.

May be required to perform functions with or without predetermined test procedures or limited instructions on electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic, experimental, developmental, electromechanical sub‑systems, units, measuring and testing devices.

The laying out, fabrication, assembly, modification, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and inspection of production, prototype, commercial and special items.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and three (3) years of experience in functional electronic, electromechanical, and/or mechanical production items, or hold an AAS in electronic technology, or equivalent technical education or training.

Must be able to work any designated shift, including overnight.

Must possess ability to interpret engineering, military, and manufacturing specifications.

Must have fabricated, assembled, diagnosed, troubleshot and required production, prototype, and commercial items.

Must have experience determining causes of malfunctions, recommending rework, and making necessary adjustments.

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance prior to the start date (U.S. citizenship required).

Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.
