Job Description Our client, a fast-growing healthcare revenue cycle management company, is seeking a data-driven Revenue Cycle Analyst to support their clients through performance analysis, dashboard development, and operational reporting. Acting as an internal consultant, this role dives deep into end-to-end revenue cycle data to uncover trends, strengthen financial outcomes, and provide actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, experienced in healthcare revenue cycle metrics, and comfortable presenting insights to both internal teams and clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building dashboards, solving problems with data, and impacting revenue performance in a collaborative remote setting.
Responsibilities
Analyze A/R trends, claim activity, denials, and underpayments
Track and report core KPIs (Days in A/R, aging, cash-to-charge, collections)
Build and maintain dashboards, pivot tables, and KPI reports
Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance summaries
Conduct baseline assessments, production reviews, and payer mix analyses
Support staffing projections and identify quick revenue improvement opportunities
Review fee schedules, reimbursement patterns, and payer compliance
Evaluate provider productivity, coding utilization, and missed/miscoded encounters
Present insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams
Contribute to SOP updates, workflow improvements, and process optimization
Qualifications
3+ years of revenue cycle analytics experience
Proven ability to build dashboards and combine multiple datasets into clear, business-focused insights
Experience analyzing A/R, denials, payer trends, and revenue cycle KPIs
