Cooperworks Closet Estimator We are a growing company specializing in custom laminated closet solutions. Our mission is to deliver innovative, functional, and stylish storage designs that enhance everyday living. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, creativity, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a Laminated Closet Designer & Estimator to join our team. This role blends design expertise with cost estimation skills, ensuring projects meet client expectations, budget requirements, and production capabilities. If you have a passion for design and an eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your talent.

Duties/Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand storage needs, style preferences, and space constraints.

Develop detailed closet layouts using CAD/design software.

Select laminated materials, finishes, and hardware to match client requirements.

Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and installation.

In-home review of storage requirements.

Generate quotations and proposals for clients.

Collaborate with production and installation teams to ensure design feasibility.

Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and innovations.

Required Skills/Abilities

Strong knowledge of laminated materials and closet design systems.

Proficiency in CAD/design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design, or similar).

Experience in cost estimation and project budgeting.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education & Experience

Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (preferred).

5+ years of experience in closet design, cabinetry, or furniture design.

Prior experience in estimation or project costing is highly desirable.

Starting Salary: $60,000-$75,000 or higher depending on experience.
