The Opportunity The successful candidate will conduct technical due diligence engagements for multiple asset types—including renewable energy, conventional generation, oil & gas, transmission, water, and new energy projects such as hydrogen, ammonia, carbon capture, and renewable fuels—on behalf of lenders and investors. Initially, you will support a multidisciplinary team of Independent Engineering and Technical Due Diligence consultants and will be expected to collect and analyze data, develop technical assessment reports, conduct site visits, maintain client contacts, and progressively take on project‑management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Transfer knowledge and capabilities to improve team and client skill levels.
Enhance relationships with team members and client management.
Contribute to quality reviews on engagements.
Ascertain and meet client expectations within scope of engagement.
Develop knowledge bases using best practices and new tools.
Outline performance measures, targets, and goals to communicate business value.
Contribute to multiple projects concurrently.
Translate analyses into written reports and presentations.
Industry Knowledge Capability
Solid working knowledge of conventional generation, oil & gas, pipelines, and storage facilities.
Experience with plant engineering and design, inspections, outage assessment, cost and budget processes, reliability assessments, field observations, performance assessment, and financial analysis.
Apply appropriate methods or recognized equivalents to meet client needs.
Anticipate and resolve technical problems with occasional assistance.
Develop, present, and defend conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plans.
Analyze and apply best practices knowledge of relevant industries.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
4+ years of experience in a business or consulting environment.
Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background checks, drug screen, motor vehicle records).
Preferred Qualifications
Engineering or other technical degree (MBA, economics, or finance degrees are acceptable with relevant experience).
General knowledge of a complete transaction engagement and due diligence lifecycle.
Business development capability.
Advanced technical or industry knowledge (plant operations, engineering, consulting, or management).
Solid working knowledge of conventional generation, oil & gas, pipelines, and storage facilities.
Knowledge in consulting processes.
Human relations skills—collaboration and teamwork.
Proficiency with multiple software packages.
Advanced PC literacy.
Certifications Certifications related to your area of expertise are preferred where applicable.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Normal office environment.
Hybrid or flexible work options may be available after the first 90 days based on manager discretion, performance, and assignments.
Travel up to 25%.
