Opportunity
The successful candidate will support technical due diligence engagements for diverse asset types (renewable energy, conventional generation, oil & gas, transmission, water, hydrogen, ammonia, carbon capture, and renewable fuels). This role involves gathering and analyzing data, developing assessment reports, conducting site visits, building client relationships, and progressively taking on overall project management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
Transfer knowledge and improve team skills Enhance relationships with client teams Contribute to quality review on engagements Meet client expectations within scope Develop knowledge bases using best practices Define performance measures and business cases for efficiencies Support multiple concurrent projects Translate analyses into written reports and presentations Industry Knowledge Capability
Solid working knowledge of conventional generation, oil & gas, process facilities, pipelines, and storage facilities Experience with plant engineering, design, inspections, outage assessment, portfolio budgeting, equipment condition assessment, capital project assessments, reliability/availability assessments, field observations, performance assessments, and financial analysis Apply appropriate methods or recognized equivalents to client needs Anticipate and resolve technical problems with occasional assistance Develop and defend conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plans Analyze best practices in relevant industries Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience 4+ years of experience in a business/consulting environment Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements Preferred Qualifications
Engineering or other technical degree; finance, economics, or MBA acceptable with relevant experience Knowledge of a complete transaction engagement and due diligence lifecycle Business development capability Advanced technical or industry knowledge (plant operations, engineering/design, consulting, management) Solid working knowledge of conventional generation, oil & gas, process facilities, pipelines, and storage facilities Knowledge of consulting processes Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Proficiency with multiple software packages Advanced PC literacy Certifications
Certifications related to the area of expertise, where applicable, preferred. Work Environment / Physical Demands
Normal office environment Hybrid or flexible work options after the first 90 days based on manager discretion Travel up to 25% Salary Plan
