Overview
HVAC/Mechanical Estimator with experience in estimating for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. This position focuses on mechanical piping estimates for HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects with opportunities for career growth and advancement. Your Responsibilities
Estimate mechanical piping costs for a variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Collaborate with project teams including engineers, VDC (BIM) designers, schedulers, foremen, customers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. Review plans, perform material take-offs, and prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical piping systems. Manage RFIs, change orders, and submittals to support project success and client satisfaction. Provide mentorship to junior team members while collaborating with Senior Project Managers. Your Qualifications
5+ years of HVAC estimating / project management experience with strong mechanical piping estimation background. Diversified project portfolio in commercial, industrial, and institutional mechanical/piping/HVAC projects. Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates, review specifications, and manage bids and proposals. Knowledge of current industry trends and standards; familiar with energy codes and local building codes. Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities for collaboration with teams and clients. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with accurate record-keeping for estimates. Benefits and Additional Details
