Designing mechanical assemblies & components in SolidWorks Turning rough concepts into clean, build-ready drawings Working side‑by‑side with controls, electrical, and fab teams Supporting builds, solving problems, making things actually work Seeing your designs go from screen → shop floor → customer line What you need
SolidWorks fluency (assemblies, drawings, the works) Experience with machinery, automation, fixtures, or mechanical systems Strong understanding of mechanisms, pneumatics, materials, GD&T Ability to work quickly, think practically, and collaborate with hands‑on teams Exposure to custom automation, robotics, conveyors Being someone who likes to walk out to the shop instead of hiding behind CAD Why you’ll like it
