Field Service Technician

is seeking a Field Service Technician in the Saginaw, MI area.
We are looking for strong machine-based knowledge and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills. The right candidate will have a positive attitude and present themselves in a professional manner, communicate confidently with customers, and work as a team player. The ideal individual is self-motivated, organized, and effective at managing time. The position involves routine and emergency service, advanced troubleshooting, installation of machinery, customer training, and machine assembly work.
Requirements
Up to 75% travel throughout North America; occasional international trips (most 3‑5 days)
Effective communication with customers and co-workers
Commitment to quality work and detail-oriented excellence
Strong decision-making skills
Prior millwright experience
Startup, commissioning of new machines, and test runs with customers
Proven strong mechanical experience
Completion of service and expense reports and administration
Initiative and drive to grow within the company
Contribution of new ideas, designs, and methods
Reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
PLC, machine control, and ladder logic experience ideal
Computer, phone, and internet communication savvy
Engineering-level analysis and advanced troubleshooting, including redesign of machine components and programming changes
Valid passport
Valid driver’s license
Associate’s degree or trade school certificate preferred
Customer-centric mindset and high motivation to sustain industry leadership
