Overnight Maintenance Supervisor Compensation:

$90,000–$95,000 + 5% Bonus (Relocation & Sign-On Bonus Offered)

Role Overview Our client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor that oversees the night-shift maintenance team, ensuring all plant equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position focuses on managing daily maintenance operations, executing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and driving continuous improvement across all systems. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on technical expertise—particularly with electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems—with strong leadership in a fast‑paced food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate maintenance staff, prioritizing and assigning work orders to minimize downtime.

Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

Supervise maintenance on pumps, valves, conveyors, fillers, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and other critical machinery.

Oversee spare parts inventory to ensure availability of essential maintenance materials.

Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems and electrical components to maintain optimal performance.

Enforce all OSHA, GMP, and internal safety compliance standards.

Partner with leadership on capital projects, upgrades, and plant improvement initiatives.

Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance personnel to build skillsets and strengthen overall team performance.

Utilize CMMS software (e.g., SAP) to record and track maintenance work orders and activities.

Conduct root cause analyses on equipment failures and implement preventive measures.

Act as the primary contact for emergency repairs during the night shift.

Qualifications

High school diploma or technical degree required; equivalent experience will be considered.

5+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing setting (food, beverage, or pharmaceutical preferred).

3+ years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, pumps, valves, conveyors, welding, and boiler operations.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.

Skilled in Microsoft Office and CMMS platforms (SAP or similar).

Electrical, welding, boiler, refrigeration, or wastewater treatment certifications.

Proven leadership and communication abilities.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
